We docked our kayaks while floating down the river and got a table right by our where we parked our kayaks! Drinks were ice cold and service was extremely fast and friendly. We tried the fish dip and stuffed mushrooms and they were amazing 😍. Coolest part of our day... 2 dolphins swimming by gave us a show, playing and splashing right by our table!! Everyone came running down from the upper bar to gather around and see them! Such an awesome experience!
First visit to this restaurant and it didn't disappoint at all. The food was delicious. My grandson & daughter in law had the chicken tenders and they were huge and delicious. My son had the fish tacos and I had mahi filet and once again plenty of food and delicious! Only disappointment was they were out of crab cages. Will definitely go back. Atmosphere is really nice and relaxing
Local friends of mine have talked about Upper Deck for a while so drove to check it out. It was amazing! The view, the food and to the vibe of the restaurant was exceptional. Lulani my server was incredible. She was knowledgeable about the food, friendly and tentative. I highly recommend the seafood trio if you are hungry very generous portions and delicious. Today is Mother’s Day and my three wonderful children treated me to a Mother’s Day lunch at one of my favorite restaurants:The Upper Deck! The appetizers we had was simply delicious and amazing: Mushroom and Seafood Bake. Tina our server made us feel special as though we were her only customers. The food was delicious. The salads nicely chilled and the main entrees piping hot! We shared so much with each other I couldn’t finish my meal and ended up taking a box home with me! Hooray for me! I highly recommend The Upper Deck to anyone who wants excellent Seafood with a beautiful view !
We loved the fact that we could bring Bo out to lunch with us. The atmosphere here is really relaxing and the food looked and tasted so good we didn't get any pics or video of it. I had a delicious cheese burger, Mary had boneless wings and Bo had his usual travel lunch. His food didn't look as appealing so I did get some video of his lunch.
Went here with friends for dinner. Had some drinks and ate. The food was delicious I went with an appetizer of Grouper nuggets. They were cooked to perfection and the tartar sauce was on point. Great food. Music and atmosphere. For the whole family
My friend and I ate here on November 28, 2025 to celebrate my birthday. We decided to split an order of fish tacos (grilled cod). They brought out three HUGE tacos along with some of the best french fries I've ever had. My friend also had a Blue Moon beer (draft) ice cold, perfectly poured. She raved about it. It was a beautiful sunny day (upper 60's) and we sat outside on the deck. The staff was so kind and accommodating and we really felt like they appreciated our business. A special shout-out to our server Sabina who was just lovely. You have to be a real "people person" to be a server and she definitely was. We happened to be there at low tide so we didn't see any manatees, but in spite of that we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed and I thought the prices were more than reasonable and represented a very good value. I would not hesitate to eat here again.
Virgin pina coladas, alligator bites, lobster bisque were all great! Cod tacos were ok. The views and service were recommendable! You won't regret stopping at this scenic spot :)
What a wonderful place! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and a great way to relax with family and friends. We loved the peel n’ eat shrimp, the burger, Philly cheesesteak and fried shrimp basket. Potato salad was so good as well. Such a nice atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.
Great rustic spot–character, views and "good bones." Right on the Weeki Wachee River. Indoor & outdoor, upstairs and downstairs seating. Relaxed atmosphere and free parking across the street. Ordered a few beers and the fish tacos (decent portions). Would recommend for a relaxed bite with ample natural lighting, fresh air and river views.
